Teen Dresses Little Brother as ‘It’ Clown and It Is Horrifically Adorable

One 17-year-old who loves photography has been garnering attention recently because of his idea to photograph his three-year-old brother, Louie, as the character Pennywise from the movie version of the Stephen King novel It.

The photos of the toddler, posted on Instagram by his older brother and photographer Eagan Tilghman, show the child dressed as a scary clown, holding red balloons in a field, on a train track, and in the water with half of his face submerged. The photos have been liked and shared by thousands.

“He loves doing all the photo shoots. You tell him to do his happy face and you tell him to do his mean face, and that’s the two faces he did in all the pictures,” Eagan told Inside Edition.

The aspiring photographer apparently spent half an hour painting Louie’s face and as with the costume, the teen said that he “just found clothes around the house and kinda tied them and wrapped and positioned them to look as close to the costume as I could. The collar is an inside out dress!”

Eagan’s Instagram post with the caption “I got bored” featuring Louie’s pictures has been generally well-received but with mixed reactions. Some described the three-year-old as cute and adorable, while others though he looked scary, horrifying, and even a mixture of both – “horrifically adorable”.

Considering the number of people and media attention his younger brother was getting, Eagan recently posted pictures of how Louie really looked, with side-by-side with photos.

“Well, this sure has been a day, and these pictures have really blown up. So here’s a side by side of Louie. My little brother behind all the clown makeup and forehead modifications. He’s actually quite adorable compared to his portrayal of Pennywise. So as you can tell, he’s pretty serious about staying in character,” wrote Eagan.
