Since the release of Toy Story in 1995, Pixar has delivered timeless classics for people of all ages. With so many characters, it became increasingly popular for writers and directors to squeeze in easter eggs every now and then.

Here are the best 10 that we know you didn’t find (unless you were looking). Hopefully, you’ll spot them next time!

Everyone is familiar with the iconic Pixar desk lamp named Luxo Jr. In WALL-E, the title character decides to use its arm to form a statue.

Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

This easter egg doesn’t really involve another Disney/Pixar property. In Toy Story 3, the title character from My Neighbor Totoro makes a brief appearance. Over the years, Disney has worked with Studio Ghibli on bringing several classics to the states, including the Oscar-winning Spirited Away.

To The Rescue

Several racing vehicles in the hit film Cars have Lightyear tires. This is an obvious nod to a certain spaceman in the Toy Story franchise.

A Futuristic Find

In the 2001 film Monsters Inc., Boo tries to give Sulley her Nemo doll. What makes this interesting is that Finding Nemo didn’t hit theaters until 2003.

There Ain’t No Bugs On Me

Mrs. Potato Head can been seen reading about bugs in Toy Story 2. Those aren’t just any kind of bugs, though. They’re the stars of the film A Bug’s Life. Both films were being worked on simultaneously in 1997.

Getting Work Done

Sometimes, a life of crime doesn’t always pay the bills. The Incredibles‘ bad guy Bomb Voyage makes a cameo appearance as a mime in Ratatouille.

A Heartbreaking Message

This easter egg is a bit hard to find at first without having to zoom in. In Toy Story 3, Andy has a postcard from a couple placed on his bulletin board. Who’s the couple? Well, it’s Carl and Ellie Fredricksen from the film Up.

Don’t Forget Your Roots

In Toy Story, a plethora of books can be seen while Woody gives a speech. The titles of these books belong to Pixar shorts, including Knick Knack and Red’s Dream.

Restaurant Shuffle

Ratatouille fans can easily spot this clever nod to the 2007 film in Cars 2. A restaurant called Gastow’s can be seen while the gang are in Paris.

Stuck On You

The title character of Finding Nemo can be spotted in one scene in Toy Story 3. Andy is a huge fan of the film as you can see with his sticker.
