It’s official. Adele has confirmed that she and Simon Konecki have tied the knot. The couple who share a son, Angelo, 4, had made quite a buzz when Adele thanked her husband in her acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys. Adding even more fuel to the fire when both Adele and Konecki were spotted wearing what seemed to be wedding rings.

While performing in Brisbane, Australia, just this past weekend, Adele stated, “I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record, because as bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth and I am addicted to that feeling.”

She went on to admit, “Obviously I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now. I’ve found my next person.”

Konecki, who was born in New York, grew up in London after moving there at age 10. It was reported that both Adele and Konecki have been together for over five years. There’s no confirmation of when exactly Adele and Konecki had tied the knot, however, it was reported sometime after Christmas of last year.

The couple seemed to have slipped under the radar with a quiet and very private ceremony like many others before them such as Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley, Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen, Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz, Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and the adorable Dax Sheppard and Kristin Bell.

Here’s to hoping married life treats her well and she never stops writing those powerful hit breakup songs!
