5 Stars You Completely Forgot Were In The Twilight Saga

Published

on

The Twilight Saga turned Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner into A-list stars. But, what about the rest of the cast? During its five-movie franchise, a huge cast of established and unknown actors shared screen time with Bella and Edward. They might not have been Oscar-worthy performances, but some of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces got their start in Twilight. Even the most committed Twihards might not remember these…

Rami Malek

Rami Malek won an Emmy and Critics Choice Award for his leading role of hacker Elliot Alderson in NBC drama Mr. Robot. But before his award-winning TV role, he played Benjamin, a vampire from the Egyptian coven in Breaking Dawn Part 2. It wasn’t the biggest part, but it clearly helped Malek springboard to bigger things. His next high-profile role is as Freddie Mercury in the highly-anticipated biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, set for release in December 2018.

Bryce Dallas Howard

Bryce Dallas Howard’s appearance in Twilight was a controversial one. The actress replaced Rachelle Lefevre as the vampire Victoria in the third movie, Twilight: Eclipse. Lefevre had played the role in the first two movies but was dropped due to scheduling commitments to other projects. Bryce went on to build a solid movie career appearing in The Help and the rebooted Jurassic World franchise opposite Chris Pratt.

Christian Serratos

Christian Serratos is best-known for playing Rosita Espinosa in AMC’s The Walking Dead, but did you know she was also in Twilight? The California-born actress appeared in all five movies as Angela Webber, Bella’s geeky high school friend, who wouldn’t stop taking photos. We hardly recognized Serratos — she looks completely different from her Twilight days.

Michael Sheen

It’s easy to forget Michael Sheen was in Twilight Saga. The Shakespearean actor appeared as Arlo, the leader of the Volturi, in New Moon and Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2. He said at the time he was persuaded to take on the role by his teenage daughter who loved the books. The Welsh star of The Masters Of Sex and political drama Frost/Nixon is better known for his political activism these days.

Anna Kendrick

She’s an Oscar-nominated actress, best-selling author, and Twitter favorite, but who else completely forgot Anna Kendrick was in Twilight? Before her aca-amazing days in the Pitch Perfect movies, Anna was best-known for playing Bella’s high school frenemy, Jessica. Now, she’s arguably got the best career out of any of the Twi-alumni including Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
