Starbucks Releases New Unicorn Frappuccino and Their Customers Love It


Word has been out for a while but Starbucks made it official this week when they released their colorful Unicorn Frappuccino, much to the delight of their customers. The brightly colored beverage changes both its flavors and colors when the drink is stirred. The new Unicorn Frappuccino is flavored with mango syrup, which is then layered with a sweet pink and sour blue powder. They top it all off with a vanilla whipped cream and finish it off with the two colors of powder.

According to a statement put out by the coffee chain, “Like its mythical namesake, the Unicorn Frappuccino blended crème comes with a bit of magic, starting as a purple beverage with swirls of blue and a first taste that is sweet and fruity. But give it a stir and its color changes to pink, and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart. The more swirl, the more the beverage’s color and flavors transform.”

Customers will have to get in quick to get a taste of the new Unicorn Frappuccino as it will only be available from April 19 through the 23rd.

Since it was announced that this is happening, the beverage has popped up all over social media. Starbucks has been trending on Facebook for the better past of the day.

While Starbucks may be the first to offer a unicorn coffee beverage, it is not the first to offer unicorn food products or beverages. Recently unicorn grilled cheese, hot chocolate, toast, cookies and popsicles have all shown up in social media feeds all over the world.

Maybe if the company has a really good response to this new drink, they will make the decision to extend the time that it is offered. If the customers who have taken to social media to discuss the new beverage have anything to say about it, they will.
