Stan Lee May Be Gone, But We Still Have Some Cameos To Look Foward To

Published

on

Stan “The Man” Lee was a legend of the comic book industry. His creations have permeated through the decades eventually becoming the biggest moneymakers in Hollywood. He died knowing just how big of an impact he had. For those who didn’t have the privilege to meet him at a con before he passed, he will be cameoing in some movies as he already filmed the scenes. The first is one that millions are looking forward to.

Avengers 4 And Captain Marvel Will Still Have Stan

The MCU films have popularized Stan Lee’s creations like never before. His cameos are one of the most looked forward to scenes of every film. There are two more to look forward to.

The Verge

Due to him getting up there in age, Marvel Studios quite understandably started filming Stan Lee’s cameos in chunks. Several were filmed at the same time to ensure that if anything happened, there would be more cameos. As confirmed by Kevin Feige, the last batch of cameos filmed included Captain Marvel and Avengers 4. However, the first thing we will see, or should we say hear him in will actually not be an MCU film.

Stan Did Some Voice Work As Well, And Not All of It Was Marvel Related

Stan has done voice work before, appearing in various cartoons and animated movies such as Big Hero 6. Coming next month we will get to hear Stan again in his cameo in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Considering this is a multiverse story, we wouldn’t be surprised if he has more than one cameo in the film.

His final voice cameo will actually be in Ralph Breaks The Internet, the sequel to the surprise hit Wreck-It Ralph. The question is, is the comic book legend due to appear in more films, or is that the last we’ll see of him?

Up In The Air

Fox has confirmed they never filmed a cameo with Stan for the upcoming Dark Phoenix film. As a result, it’s highly unlikely he will appear in any of Fox’s other superhero films.

The Hollywood Reporter

While this is sad to say at least he did get some fantastic cameos in their previous films. There is also the chance that Marvel Studios will use some of the unused cameos filmed and put them in their future films. All we can do it wait and see.
