Spice Girls Reuniting Again For 2019 Stadium Tour…Without Posh

The Spice Girls are making headlines again after announcing some pretty big news. The iconic group has announced that they’re going out on another reunion tour, but only as a quartet.

Over twenty years after the Spice Girls made their mark on the music world, the group is heading back on the road. It’s been announced that Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie C (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) will go out on a limited tour in the U.K. during Summer 2019. The six-date stadium tour will kick off at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 1, 2019. The ladies will then move to stadiums in Coventry, London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Sunderland throughout the rest of the summer.

The girls released a special announcement on Twitter about the upcoming tour. They also shared in a statement, “We are beyond excited to be reuniting next year for a stadium tour! Bringing girl power and our message of friendship and love back to the stage feels more relevant than ever. We hope everyone can join us for one big Spice Girls party!” Though the majority of the group is all in, there will still be one significant member missing from the party.

Say You’ll Be There

Victoria Beckham (known in the group as Posh Spice) will, unfortunately, not be a part of the big reunion this time around. She has prior business commitments that she can’t break. “Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour,” Beckham said in a statement. “I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!”

Mel B did tease fans by revealing that Beckham may pop up at a few shows. “It’s just the four of us that are fully confirmed but Vic might join us at some point,” the singer shared. “I hope so. It would be a shame if she didn’t.”

Nonetheless, the group is pressing on, ready to give fans an amazing flashback to the 90s and early 2000s. The tour will also feature performances from special guest Jess Glynne, who will open the show. Tickets for the Spice World tour will go on sale on Saturday, November 10 at 10:30 am UK time.

June 6 — Sunderland, England @ Stadium of Light

June 15 — London, England @ Wembley Stadium
