Family Rescues Saddest Looking Dog at the Pound; Look at him now!

There are many dogs staying at animal shelters that are having a difficult time finding permanent homes, which is why when Reddit user Narya9 saw a sad rescue dog who looks like a pup straight from a cartoon show in the Baltimore Animal Shelter, she knew she had to do something for people to take notice and adopt him.

What better strategy is there in this day and age of the Internet than posting it on social media.

Narya9 posted the photo on Reddit with the caption, “This little guy waiting for his new family to pick him up,” had been viewed and shared over a hundred thousand times and in a matter of 7 days after posting, another Reddit user, KeysOnATable commented that their family adopted the cartoon-character-looking dog and named him Frank.

“Great news! My family and I took him home and his name is now Frank,” wrote KeysOnATable. The rescue dog may be over the moon not only in having a new home but having his own Instagram page, where his owner posts pictures of his activities and shenanigans.

The dog’s very first photo on Instagram revealed how completely different Frank’s expression is now compared to when he was still at the shelter and the caption said it all: “Happy in my new home.”

Even Narya9 who made everything possible shared a before and after adoption pictures of Frank to the Reddit world to show the stark contrast.

How can the dog not be happy when he’s no longer cooped up in the shelter and free to do all the fun things that he likes such as spending time running around with his new friends Michael and Mallory and chilling at home with his big brother Max.

Apart from hanging out with his fellow canines, Max also receives tons of love from his owners and lots of belly rubs. The family who welcomed Frank into their home shared on Reddit that: “We took him in and he’s made our lives that much better already.”
