Reese Witherspoon Protects Her Walk Of Fame Star In The Best Way Possible
Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is (almost literally) a milestone every actor hopes to see in their career. Making sure nobody vandalizes or dirties it is a major concern for some out there. One beloved star took it one step further to secure her star’s cleanliness.
Best Laid Plans
In 2010, Reese Witherspoon received her own star for her work in Walk The Line, Election, and Legally Blonde. Bringing her two children and then-boyfriend Jim Toth, the actress was ecstatic about her very own star.
Her star (which, fun fact, is the 2,425th star on the Walk of Fame) sits right next to Jennifer Aniston and Ellen DeGeneres.
Just Like Heaven
The actress was walking by her star recently when she noticed it was a bit dirty. Most stars would’ve just shrugged it off, but Witherspoon wasn’t having it. She proceeded to record herself cleaning it for her 12 million Instagram followers.
“Don’t you let people walk all over you. I know you’re on the street, but don’t you do that. You’re a queen,” she told the star. After a few good wipes, the star was as shiny as the day it was laid.
Be A Warrior
Witherspoon will be busy promoting her upcoming film A Wrinkle In Time. The Disney production is an adaptation of the 1962 novel written by Madeleine L’Engle. The film also stars Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, and Zach Galifianakis. Witherspoon will continue her relationship with Disney with the Tinker Bell movie. Announced back in 2015, the actress will star in and direct the film. No word on when production will begin.
