In front of the cameras, the Royal Family are incredibly polished and poised for the public. Behind the scenes, though, they’re just regular people who like to laugh, joke around, and do normal stuff just like us! Check out these pics that show that the Royals are more like us than we think.

They Enjoy A Little Healthy Competition

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry took part in a relay race for their Heads Together charity in 2017. The event helped to bring awareness to mental health issues, but the Royals still had fun competing against each other. In fact, Prince Harry took off sprinting, beating his brother and sister-in-law in the first heat!

They Love To Take Selfies

Just like us regular folks, the Royal Family is always up for a great selfie! On several occasions, we have caught the princes along with the Duchess of Cambridge taking pictures with adoring crowds. Now that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are wed, hopefully she’ll be jumping into the selfie game as well!

They Care About Social Issues

The Royals are patrons of hundreds of charities and non-profit organizations in the UK and worldwide. They have been actively involved in spreading awareness about mental health, military service, education, HIV/AIDS, and many more. In fact, Princes William and Harry, along with Kate, regularly have visits and meetings with different charities and people throughout the year.

They Know The Value Of Hard Work

Being a royal isn’t all about shaking hands, taking pictures, and kissing babies. It involves taking part in a lot of meetings and events all over the world, which is a lot of work. The Royals get to not only meet new people but work towards solving problems and concerns facing their country and the world.

They’re A Loving Family

All families have their ups and downs, and surely, the Royal Family has theirs as well. They have had their share of drama over the years, but their love for each other outweighs any of that. The Royals always manage to be there for one another, and that’s what matters most.
