NFL week 12 Recap
The Seattle Seahawks managed to score only five points in their game against the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay in the NFL week 12 games. In almost a year, this was the first time the Seahawks trailed with over a seven point margin after the first half. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the other hand, enjoyed their victory at home. The Buccaneers had managed to grab a 14-0 lead over the Seahawks during the first quarter. In the beginning, things looked pretty good for the Seahawks, after winning their first challenge of the season. An end-zone holding on the Buccaneers saw the Seahawks get a safety which gave them their first points of the game.
Unfortunately, this was just it for the Seahawks for the game. The Buccaneers came in even more aggressive and dominated the game. Russell Wilson was sacked four times in the first quarter. Furthermore, the Buccaneers managed to stop a conversion on third down from the sea hawks..
During the fourth quarter, sea hawks fans got hopeful when a Buccaneer fumble was performed. However, the Buccaneers managed to steal back the ball, forcing another fumble.
During the last two minutes of the game, the Seahawks only had one chance of scoring; Wilson threw an interception to end the game.Fans were only left to wonder what could have possible gone wrong with them especially after they had shown so much potential at the beginning of the season. Their defense was clumsy, with Richard Sherman being a bit slow. On the other hand, Wilson’s interceptions and high passes disappointed the sea hawk fans.
The Seahawks’ loss was something nobody expected, especially not from the fans. They will be preparing to face the Carolina Panthers in an upcoming home game.
The Oakland Raiders however dominated the Carolina Panthers in a 35-32 win. This season has surely packed some amazing surprises that have seen fans get disappointed by the turn of events. A recap on the games played, will enable you to see just how competitive all the teams were. As we head to week 13, we are all hoping for the best.
