Kristen Bell Couldn’t Help But Tear Up For The Most Adorable Reason

Published

Kristen Bell may be an A-list actress, but she’s still a proud mom. Her family truly means the world to her. So it’s no surprise that when her daughter graduated from preschool, she could help but get emotional. And, of course, she shared the tears online!

Pretty Busy Mama

From her work in Disney’s hit film Frozen (and all its specials and upcoming sequels) to starring in Bad Moms and A Bad Moms Christmas, Bell’s career has been booming. She and her husband, Dax Shepard, constantly balance their busy acting careers with the ups and downs of parenthood. Bell and Shepard are parents to two young daughters, Lincoln and Delta. And they have been more than open about their perfectly imperfect journey as parents.

In fact, Bell hosts her own web-series entitled, Momsplaining with Kristen Bell, which shares motherhood tips with new and expecting mothers. She loves being a mom and makes time for her daughters’ special moments. So when little Lincoln hit a pretty big milestone, Bell planned to be there front and center.

Moving On Up

Five-year-old Lincoln is moving on to kindergarten, something that Bell has been trying to prepare both Lincoln and herself for. Thankfully, the transition period is already starting to prepare the young girl for her new school. “The school has play dates during the summer where the kids can actually meet each other, so the environment is slightly more familiar,” Bell shared in an interview.

To celebrate the momentous occasion, Lincoln’s preschool had a graduation ceremony. Bell, of course, was in attendance to support her daughter. However, the mom had no idea just how choked up she was going to get!

Cue The Waterworks

As the kids moved through their ceremony, Bell couldn’t help but get emotional. She even shared a picture and video on Instagram tearing up while the kids sang, “I’ve Got Peace Like a River.” The actress said, “Don’t worry guys. I’m having a GREAT time at preschool graduation. I’m not a mess or anything.”

Before long though, Bell was in full-on tears. “OK, I was lying before. Please send help,” she later typed. But she powered through and enjoyed the beautiful day with Lincoln and her family. Wishing Lincoln the best of luck this coming school year!
