Nick Kelble and his longtime girlfriend Hayley Roll went to the Cincinnati Zoo for a little stroll. Roll thought that they were only going there to visit a local viral superstar, Fiona the hippo. Little did Roll know that Kelble had a surprise up his sleeve.

When they got to the Hippo’s cage, Roll and Kelble decided to take a photo with the Hippo’s as their background. Roll handed her phone to a stranger which gladly agreed to take a photo of them. When Roll turned back to pose for the picture she immediately noticed that Kelble was on his knees.

Kelbel was holding a small box in his hands and in that box was a ring. Roll was shocked and ecstatic at the same time. Although the moment was very sweet, the couple soon found out that there was something more astounding that occurred during that moment. When the couple took the time to scroll at their camera reel, they soon discovered that they had a photobomber alongside them.

It was funny that the hippo they were supposed to be visiting joined them in one of their memorable moments. Fiona the viral hippo shamelessly posed and stole the show away from the couple. With her squared face looking straight at the couple, the picture looked even more memorable.

In her Instagram account, Roll posted “We’re so happy Fiona could be there on our special day ❤ here’s to many more years of going to zoos with you.”

The photograph instantly caught the attention of the people on the internet. Some people are somewhat jealous that a cute hippo photobombed the proposal while some are amused by the hippo’s expression.

Although there were no words yet whether Fiona will be attending the wedding, it’s safe to speculate that the chances of Fiona gatecrashing the wedding are pretty high.
