George Michael’s Cause of Death Finally Revealed

Records have been released by the Senior Coroner for Oxfordshire’s office, revealing  natural causes as the reason of Singer George Michael’s death. A statement from coroner’s office revealed, ”Enquires into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post mortem report received. As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being Dilated Cardiomyopathy with Myocarditis and Fatty Liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further enquiries.”

The coroner’s statement went on to state, “No further updates will be provided and the family requests the media and public respect their privacy.”

George Michael, famously known as the singer from Wham! passed away this past Christmas, at the young age of 53. Michael’s rep confirmed that he died “peacefully at home.” Michael’s rep further stated, “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peaceful at home over the Christmas period. The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”

The singer was found dead by boyfriend Fadi Fawaz first thing Christmas morning.

In the wake of Michael’s passing, many musicians have paid tribute to the late legend, including performances by longtime friend Elton John, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and an unforgettable performance by close friend Adele, at the 2017 Grammys. Adele’s tribute performance gained traction following her request for the show to restart her cover of Fastlove since she was too choked up to sing correctly, in which she stated “I’m sorry. I can’t mess this up for him.”

Michael was known for classic hits such as Careless Whisper, Faith, Fastlove, Freedom, I Want Your Sex, One More Try, and Last Christmas.

The weight of his absence has rippled through the music industry and continues to weigh heavily on fans. Michael will be greatly missed.
