Game of Thrones fans are counting down the days for the show’s final season. While the series is coming to an end, the same can’t be said for your favorite star’s acting career. We take a look at what some cast members will be doing when the show ends.

Sophie Turner Is Back To Superheroing

Sophie Turner will reprise her role of Jean Grey in the 2019 film X-Men: Dark Phoenix. “This movie is kind of a lot more emotion-based, much more grounded,” she told Digital Spy. She’s also slated to appear in the drama Heavy and the biopic Girl Who Fell From the Sky.

Kit Harington Is Still Playing With Dragons

Following the show’s finale, Kit Harington will be appearing in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. The Emmy nominated actor joined the franchise in 2014’s How to Train Your Dragon 2. Harrington will also be busy portraying Austin in the Vaudeville Theatre production of True West.

Lena Headey Is Now A Wrestler

Lena Headey will step into the wrestling world as Julia Knight in Fighting With My Family. The movie, which is produced by Dwayne Johnson, is based on the story of WWE wrestler, Paige. Headey will also star in the drama The Flood, which she also producesand the thriller Crooks.

Peter Dinklage Has A Passion Project

Peter Dinklage will reprise his role of Mighty Eagle in The Angry Birds Movie 2. Dinklage will also portray Shorty in the film adaptation of The Thicket. Dinklage is currently filming The Dwarf with director Brad Anderson. The Golden Globe winner has been trying to get that particular film made for over a decade.

Maisie Williams Remains Cool In Indie Films

During her time on Game of ThronesMaisie Williams has been a part of several indie films. In 2019, she’ll take on the role of Wolfsbane in The New Mutants. The Fox/Marvel film was originally slated for this year, but it was pushed back for reshoots. “I know how long this sort of thing takes on Game of Thrones, and I know the work that they want to put in is, it’s a huge job,” she told Collider.
