It’s The End of the Road for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom
It’s all fun and games until someone wants to take a break. It looks like the end of the road for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship. The pair have been together about a year and have decided space is needed.
Attending the Golden Globes together in early 2016, the media buzzed with the possibility of quirky Katy and laid back Orlando getting together, and so Hollywood was blessed with these two as couple.
It’s no secret that Katy had been previously married to British actor and comedian Russell Brand only for a short time before they divorced while Orlando had been married to model Miranda Kerr for three years. It seemed like a perfect union between Perry and Bloom, as they’ve both recently gone through divorces in front of the world.
Recently, the two posed together during an Oscars after party and Perry even threw Bloom a birthday party this past January. Although rumors were swirling last month that Perry had attended the Grammy’s without Bloom on her arm, the pair was able to quell fan’s fears by posing together during some big name parties.
That is, until Tuesday when their reps confirmed, “Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time.” Whether this means we’ll soon see Bloom and Perry on the arms of another or they’ll be back together soon, we do not know.
In Perry’s documentary, Katy Perry: Part of Me, clips depicted a saddened Perry as she cried on the floor about how her tour had been affecting her marriage to Brand. Perry did not tour in 2016 and has yet to announce any tour dates for 2017, so it’s unlikely that her relationship with Bloom had fallen to the waste side while her career took precedent. Perhaps she’s ready to focus on writing and getting back in the studio and needs some time away to focus on her music. And then there’s all the rumors that Bloom has been getting cozy with Erin McCabe, daughter of Les McCabe, Global Green President. Whatever the case, we’ll all be eagerly waiting to hear.
