After eight seasons of high-budget battles and noble family feuds, HBO’s hit series Game Of Thrones is finally coming to an end. The fantasy-drama has captured the attention of viewers and critics alike since its debut six years ago, propelling many of its stars to fame in the process.

Fans are already grieving the absence of some of their favorite characters from the show, bracing for the impact of what life without Game Of Thrones will soon be like.

Khaleesi Says Goodbye

Fans aren’t the only ones who are experiencing some intense emotions regarding the end of the series. Stars of the show, now some of the biggest celebrities in the world, have had a lot to say about the impact Game Of Thrones has had on their lives. One such star, actress Emilia Clarke, took to Instagram to give her emotional goodbye to her character Daenerys Targaryen, a.k.a. Khaleesi.

“Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones,” she wrote, then adding, “thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing.”

In recent interviews, Clarke has been open about the impact of filming her character’s final few scenes.
