Apparently, 8-year-old Sam Warren, recently lost a tooth and left it to the care of ever reliable tooth fairy but unlike the usual scenario wherein money is immediately given, Sam’s tooth fairy left an official letter to Sam about the condition of his tooth.

Henry posted the letter, which came “from the desk of Barry. T. Tooth Fairy”, on his Twitter page and the tweet went viral, earning more than 16,000 likes and over 5,000 shares.

The photo had the caption: “Our son is dreadful at brushing his teeth. Turns out the Tooth Fairy has had enough.”

The letter informed Sam that the tooth fairy had received his tooth and that the same “is being duly processed” in their system.

The note also explained about the payment delay for the tooth:

“You will have noticed there has been a delay in your payment for the tooth. Mr. Warren, I have to inform you that this is due to the condition in which we found said tooth. We expect a certain amount of wear and tear on the teeth we appraise. However, in this case your tooth had to be referred up to the committee for further analysis.”

The tooth fairy also shared their initial evaluation concerning Sam’s tooth and what the eight-year-old should do about it:

“We have detected more than trace amounts of Fanta and residual amounts of both cereal and chocolate which have not been removed by appropriate brushing technique. We recommend you review your practice here as a matter of urgency.”

The letter ended with the tooth fairy warning Sam that the condition of his teeth needs to improve for him to claim payment again.

One Twitter commenter shared a similar experience when his lawyer dad sent an “Affidavit of Mislaid Tooth” to the tooth fairy because her sister swallowed her tooth and wouldn’t stop crying. These daddies rock!
