These Celebrity Wax Figures are the Stuff of Nightmares

Published

on

There’s something automatically kind of creepy about seeing life-like wax replicas of celebrities from museums like Madame Tussauds. But the creep factor jumps to 11 when those wax figures don’t quite resemble their real-life counterparts. At that point, the only thing those wax figures are good for is being made fun of in lists like this one. Here are five of the worst you’ll ever lay eyes on.

Just No, Miley

Over the years, Miley Cyrus has reinvented herself several times. But what has never changed is her face. To the right is the face we all know. To the left, a face we’re not too familiar with, and one you wouldn’t like to meet in a dark alley.

Something About Her Face

So close, and yet, still so far. Yes, these are wax figures, so you expect them to be a little stiff, but this is just a little too stiff for us. There is no life to this Katy Perry replica, which looks more like a sub-par sex doll. The hair isn’t half bad, though.

Beyhive Disapproves

Let’s just say this — the Beyhive was not pleased. Our queen deserves better. It’s just all wrong. On the flip side, does anyone else think that Wax Bey looks a little like another pop queen? If you’re thinking Britney Spears, you’re reading our minds. Can you repurpose a wax figure?

Those Eyes

Look deep into those soulless eyes. Take in his flat lifeless hair. Wax Ed Sheeran is not making a very good impression. This figure’s got nothing on the soulful eyes of the one true Ed Sheeran. But why not snap a quick pic for the ‘gram? It’ll at least snag a few laughs.

America’s SweetHURGGHHHH

Taylor Swift is an American Sweetheart. The same cannot be said for her wax counterpart – there’s nothing sweet about this lifeless doll. Just look at her! When you go to a wax museum, you want quality selfies with these fake celebs, not selfies with a mannequin that will haunt you in your dreams forever. They couldn’t even get the hair right!

These Celebrity Doppelgangers From The Past Have Us Seeing Double

Time travel is a mystifying concept. Much like the idea of extraterrestrial life, it has captured the human imagination for as long as we have existed. Today, it’s at the forefront of famous movie plots, most famously ‘Back to the Future,’ and pops up in late-night conversations about the universe and meaning of life. As of now, scientists have not been able to confirm whether traveling through time is possible, and though there isn’t any kind of hard evidence that proves human beings can time travel, these photos of celebrities alongside what appear to be them in other time periods will sure make you wonder.
