George Michael Autopsy Reports Inconclusive According to Police
An autopsy conducted on the body of George Michael was termed inconclusive according to reports released by UK police last Friday. This means that admirers of the sensational pop star may have to wait a little longer before they can get to know what the actual cause of death was. Thames Valley police, however, did confirm that more tests will be needed before any real conclusions regarding the cause death can be determined.
Legendary pop musician George Michael was found dead at his Oxfordshire home in England on Christmas day. Unlike the case with many celebrity deaths, there are yet to be any rumours pointing out to controversial circumstances surrounding the singer’s death and it appears it will take several weeks for police autopsy reports to be released.
Information from Thames Valley Police indicated that the postmortem done on Thursday did not reveal much, even as the manager of the 53 year-old, Michael Lippman issued a statement to the effect that the singer could have suffered a heart failure.
Fadi Fawaz, Michael’s Australian-born partner said that he found the singer dead in his bed first thing on Christmas day. The legendary singer will be remembered for hits like Careless Whisper, Freedom! ’90 and Too Funky. He is one of the pop musicians of the 80s whose legacies transcend cultural barriers and even after he technically bowed out of singing in the 90s, his music would still reverberate across the world even today.
While it may be considered a preemptive argument discussing his death, indicators point out to heart failure as a probable cause, especially seeing as the singer had been hospitalized in Vienna General Hospital in 2011 with a life-threatening bout of pneumonia.
Tributes are already pouring in from all over the world, especially from the music fraternity. Fellow British singer, Elton John, is reported to have broken down while paying tribute his dear friend and colleague. John was overcome by emotion as he tried to reminisce his past with the deceased and just like him, many who lived or worked with the legend are equally shocked at the news of having lost such an important figure in the music industry.
